Soooo I watched
Planet of the Dead earlier with my family. I won't give any spoilers (but really, Riddick?) and so I'll merely say: I didn't like
anywhere near as much as
The Next Doctor. That one was
tops, however, I'll grant this Special was pretty good, with jewels like Lee Evans and his amazingly funny ears and everyone's favourite red-beret-wearing not-really-secret-"top-secret"-orginazation (oh, you knew about that. Everyone did!) and their salutes. The part I looked forward to was seeing Vin Diesel--I MEAN seeing the ending of the episode! Yes. Ahem. Clever little (6-foot-7) Russell, leaving his sneaky little hints for his ruttin' story arcs...he needs to (re-)take lessons in cryptic clues, though - I think he's losing his touch.
Right-o, and the sixth feature! I really do need to keep on top of these. *mutters about schoolwork*

Cape Flattery: Oh, I just love how busy this is: the crashing water, the islands, the forest all around. There is a lot going on, and I really like how wild it is.
Forest Grove: This photo immediately sent me to my happy place, which coincidentally also looks like Lantern Waste during the 500-Year Winter. Somewhere there is a faun, I just have to find him...
Afternoon Stroll: The soft haziness quality of the photo gives an ethereal and dream-like quality to an enchanting pathway through the park in Autumn.
Blossom Fun: This one ppopped up in my box today and I fell in love with it. The shot is full of crazy little blossoms everywhere, and - as the title itself says - is very fun and puts a smile on my face.
Smoke in the Sky: The dramatic lighting and positioning of the clouds makes me think of a giant sending smoke signals from over the horizon. The capture of the sun's rays through clouds adds to the simple, timeless beauty of the photo.
